Welcome to the Kenn Blanchard Show.
I produce this podcast every week to brighten your day.
There is a Greek myth about a guy named Sisyphus, the king of Ephyra, condemned to push a rock up a mountain every day in hell for being chronically deceitful only to have it roll back down before he could finish for eternity. That sucked.
I picked this guy as my avatar for a new logo for the Kenn Blanchard Show. (http://blanchard.libsyn.com)
Something about him being a king, being punished to struggle for eternity resonated with me. The part about him being a chronic liar isn’t a nice attribute to associate your self with but I’ve done my share.
The struggle part is main thing.
Today, I said something to a friend that summed up proof that I have learned something over the years
“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
I an a oil painter, calligrapher, musician, blogger, podcaster, journalist, author, professional speaker, counselor, first responder, trainer, editor, Christian pastor, facilitator, elicitor, intelligence analyst, motorcyclist, actor, outdoorsman, marksman, and entrepreneur that lately has been overwhelmed by his own abilities. If I don’t create something I feel like I am going to explode sometimes.
One of my heroes, Frederick Douglas said
“without struggle there can be no progress…”
and I am taking that as the tagline for this new show and pivoting off of that. I’ve made a few mistakes. I have done too much of something and not enough of others. I have thrown too much on the wall to see what sticks. It’s all up there but nothing is leading.
So I created this website for this new podcast. Bookmark it. It is going to be different because I am going to incorporate video with it. Stay with me as it grows. It’s going to be a “sho nuff show.”
There are some subjects that need to be discussed, fleshed out and expounded upon. Some may get me in trouble but I’ve played it safe for two decades. Hope to use all that have to help and give hope to a few people wondering what happened their life, their dreams and their future.
For the past few years I have been trying to find the right recipe to make something of my life. I am middle aged now and have amassed a lot of knowledge to go with those skills but not enough wisdom to solve the puzzle that life has placed in front of me to my satisfaction. I have gained enough however to do great things for others and have.

I going to share with you some things I have found that work and some that don’t with stories, the struggle and the success I have faced and still facing. I think this new show is going to be a MONSTER. I’ll be doing some public work so you may see me more on TV and radio as I stir up the pot.
